A perfect summer day for a  walk in the oasis of serenity in the middle of nature. Rolling woods, meandering trails, water streams, a log cabin, a natural lake and home to songbirds, woodpeckers, squirrels, and wild rabbits.

The sun peeped through the dense trees that lined the walking trail. The greenest hues of trees and bushes colored the woods and breeze rustled through the fallen old foliage on the path.

I strolled along the picturesque meandering trails and pausing occasionally to watch a little game of hide and seek played by the wild rabbits and squirrels.

The shimmering lake surface and velvety marshes caught my eyes, as I walked further inside, taking in all the sights and sounds of the beautiful migratory birds playing in the water.

As I wandered further inside, noticed the Adirondack-style log cabin, a charmingly rustic little cabin partially hidden amidst the thick woods, and sat on a wooden bench adjacent to the fire pit near the cabin, admiring its beauty and enjoying the stillness of the surrounding nature while listening to the sound of birds chirping and gushing water from the untamed creek.

I returned home rejuvenated and relaxed after spending  a day in the midst of nature’s alluring beauty in the Spring Valley.
