During our stay in Chicago, Illinois, we visited two cafes often for a hearty Sunday breakfast or brunch. These cafes have outlets scattered throughout many states in the USA and I would recommend trying them out in any of their outlets; I am sure you will enjoy the experience.
Given that breakfast is the most essential meal of the day, it gave us an additional excuse to indulge in the various scrumptious delights these breakfast chains have to offer.
Egg Harbour Cafe is a popular place for breakfast and brunch; started in 1985 with only one restaurant in Illinois, it now has 20 cafes spread across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Georgia.
It offers a wide choice of gourmet egg-based specialties along with a variety of delectable breakfasts, brunch, and lunch options in a vibrant and lively setting. The menu is well-composed, and you will be spoilt for choices. The menu includes hearty meals like full platters with eggs, varieties of meats and hash browns, a range of skillet combos, scramblers abed omelets and benedicts, and biscuit & gravy. You can also customize and create your own variants including seafood and Mediterranean options, and from the wide range of add-ons. The cafe also serves delicious pancakes, waffles, crepes, and griddle combos. Those who prefer to eat light can pick from a range of breakfast bowls, sandwiches, salads, and soups & chilies. You can pair the meal with a beverage of your choice – a fresh cup of hot coffee or tea or juice. Gluten-free options are also available.
Egg Harbour Cafe is a perfect spot for a hearty and healthy indulgence! You can also purchase beautiful handcrafted cafe-inspired coffee mugs made of stoneware to bring home as memorabilia.
